3’s mobile WiFi product (a re-badged Huawei E5830) provides a mobile internet connection (either 3G or HSDPA) to any device with a WiFi interface and a browser. This means you can browse the internet from your iPod Touch while on the move or even from a Sony PSP or Nintendo DSi.
Panasonic has launched its new ‘z-series’ range of wireless HD plasma TVs which allow you to enjoy 1080p HD viewing without the spaghetti junction of cables to keep them talking to your other gadgets.
Many speakers systems now boast that they don’t require us to trail wires all over our houses but this little gadget has a new take on the idea. Its a speaker – but its also a light bulb!
Lu Le was inspired by the “Peas in a Pod” concept to design a speaker system consisting of a transparent tube containing seven sound-emitting speaker-balls. The balls can be removed from the tube and spread around the room to spread the distribution of the sound — and probably to ruin the stereo image too!
LG Electronics has today launched a range of home theatre systems featuring such capabilities as wireless speakes, 1080 up-scaling and USB Media Plus capability.
