Gigabyte has been known to be working on a number of UMPC products but information was thin on the ground for one particular model: the M700. That’s all changed with a photo and specifications from Gigabyte released at CeBIT 2008.
In what seems like a collective fit of stating the obvious several sites apparently lead by AppleInsider are now reporting the rumour that Apple will extend use of its multi-touch interface to a new generation of MacBooks and ultimately use it throughout its laptop range.
Apple has filed for two new patents which imply that we could see Macs with Multi-Touch technology in the near future. This may confirm rumours circulating at the moment that Apple is at last about to announce the launch of a tablet format MacBook.
