Sony gave us the AIBO, a cute little puppy-like robot, and now HPI is bringing the G-Dog to market this month. In contrast to the AIBO it is styled to resemble a mature setter-like breed of dog though the size is still a diminutive 375 x 135 x 190mm.

For the last few Christmases robotic toys have been pretty high on most department store’s Best Sellers list. So its about time some-one had the idea of producing a range of mean-looking robots for us dorky grown-ups.
