Continuing the ‘thin’ theme of upcoming CES products Lenovo has debuted their latest, ‘thinnest’ all-in-one desktop PC. It does look pretty good with its rakish profile iMac-inspired frameless black bezel but don’t expect this to act as a home entertainment hub the way its competition can.
The Asus ROG CG6190 gaming PC has been launched and features Intel’s latest Core i7 processor, X58 chipset and a striking chassis design. The new technology is claimed to deliver a 50% improvement in 3D processing over previous technology.
If you need a powerful quality desktop speaker system for your PC that takes up a minimum footprint this could be just what you’re looking for. The Expressionist BASS integrates subwoofers within the free-standing desktop elements rather than a separate woofer box.
Another all-in-one PC is to take on the ubiquitous iMac format, this time from Averatec, featuring a 22-inch screen, and running Vista Home Premium. The All-In-One PC (that really is it’s name!) will be competing head-to-head with the Apple product and other one-box PCs like the Gateway One.
Danish software company Pollux Gamelabs is soon to release its first game under the control of Paradox Interactive. The game is an enormously deep strategy title of the space opera genre.
