Initially announced at the beginning of 2007 and already delayed the Axiotron OS X ModBook is now ready for shipping several weeks ahead of schedule according to an announcement by the maker. This will make it one of the only third-party computers running OS X since Steve Jobs shut down Gill Amelio’s Mac cloning program [...]
Axiotron is apparently rolling out a device they are calling the ModBook Mac Tablet that is a fully compatible (at the moment) Mac running OS X.4 Tiger (Leopard version does not seem to available) and a Wacom tablet.
Cnet is reporting that “Asus is helping Apple build a Tablet PC”. This would normally be regarded as typical speculation that surrounds both Apple and it’s products were it not for further longstanding indications of a tablet format computer from Apple.
