Despite the on-going court battle with Apple over the bundling and installation of the Apple OS with Psystar’s range of products the clone-maker was happy to stick its head out a little further and launch their Open(3) computer yesterday.
According to AppleInsider we can expect the up-coming marginal update to Apple’s operating system to feature highlights from the iPhone and iPod touch including location detection and and multi-touch gesture recognition.
While the legal battle between Apple and Psystar continues in private the public skirmishing is being fought through press releases. The latest vent from Psystar claims that Apple is taking a passive attitude towards optical technology and emphasize the point Psystar’s latest machines can be ordered with a blu-ray burner.
Apple tablet rumours are racing around the net again following a filing by the computer company discovered by AppleInsider. This patent presents several images that depict a mobile internet device with a software keyboard.
Aimed at the budget market, the Lenovo G-series has a modest specification but is interesting in that it comes (in Malaysia where it was first launched, at least) with MS-DOS pre-installed and giving the user the option of installing Linux, Windows, OS X or any other operating system.
