If you’re worried that you haven’t heard an Apple tablet rumour for a while here’s one to get your hopes up. According to Digitimes and their source, a Taiwanese newspaper, Foxconn is negotiating with Apple to manufacture a netbook format product.
This portable scanner concept gets over the usual problem of scanning on-the-go, the lack of a display to preview your image, and gets around it without compromising the mobility of the device. It also makes the process of scanning much easier.
You’re looking at a concept design proposed for gaming laptops that incorporates a collapsible OLED screen. While one can see the advantages to gamers I think this design is highly desirable replacement for any laptop user.
OLED technology has been a buzz-word all year since Sony amazed us with their OLED TV technology at the Consumer Electronics show in January. Well they’ve now gone one step better with the demonstration of a flexible version only 0.3mm thick!
Among the many product launches taking place at CES Sony has demonstrated a jaw-dropping prototype of a 27 inch OLED TV. The mega-screen has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and the panel is less than 10mm deep!
