Perhaps Apple has set a trend with it’s MacBook Air for slimming everything down to its flattest possible profile or perhaps it’s just a general trend which Apple got carried on. Either way Sony has jumped on board as rumours abound regarding a new slim PS3 possibly sporting a new 160 GB hard drive!
This is the case of the PS3 that wasn’t. The Amycall phone has nothing to do with Sony’s Playstation 3 or the much-hyped PSPhone although it does boast the triangle, circle, square and cross buttons.
Women are now the dominant force in the Japanese gaming market (numerically at least) as indicated by figures for Nintendo’s Wii and DS platforms in what was described as a “seismic shift that will transform the video game industry” by Satoru Iwata, the company President.
So far the choice of games for Wii has been strictly ‘family friendly’. Which is fine. But some of us hanker for some action titles and now our prayers have been answered! Metroid Prime 3: Corruption has arrived and it feels good!
