The day has come and all the Apple Tablet rumours that have built up over the last decade will finally be justified — or dashed as many rumours before.

Following earlier rumours last week talk persists surrounding new mobile devices that Apple may or may not currently have at the prototype stage. The iPhone lite would broaden the appeal of the iPhone range even further and the Apple Media Pad would answer at least two years of consumer pressure and speculation.

If you’re worried that you haven’t heard an Apple tablet rumour for a while here’s one to get your hopes up. According to Digitimes and their source, a Taiwanese newspaper, Foxconn is negotiating with Apple to manufacture a netbook format product.

This may be genuine — but it probably isn’t. If it is its great news and I’ll definitely be in the queue to buy this MacBook Air Mini. But if it isn’t it illustrates just the kind of cut down models Apple should be turning out in today’s stuffed up economy.

Images leaked from Lenovo may indicate the upcoming launch of a very seductively designed netbook model in the form of the Pocket Yoga. But don’t hold your breath.
