Following HP’s embrace of multitouch functionality in its TouchSmart desktop PCs comes the tx2 multitouch Notebook. HP claims this is the world’s first consumer-targeted convertible notebook with a multitouch display.

Up to now Apple Laptops have been an assemblage of chassis, skin and a host of components hooked onto the frame. But now, Apple has a whole new way of doing things.
Toshiba has announced its official launch of its Portégé M800 laptop at it ‘Take a Closer Look’ publicity event in Paris on the 7th May. Its most notable feature is its white pearlescant meterial and glowing status indicator lights which seem to glow from within.
