Sony has today announced an extension to its Cybershot range of consumer-level cameras in the form of the DSC-T700 and DSC-T77 digital cameras. The T77 becomes Sony’s thinnest model at less than 5/6 of an inch and the T700 only marginally thicker than this.

In an effort to overtake Canon, Fujifilm and other competition the new Sony CyberShot H50 promises photographs of high quality without having to pay the price of a full-spec DSLR.
