Sony Ericsson SE Rika W705 slider phone coming tomorrow

Rumours are flying of Sony Ericsson’s final announcement of the year tomorrow and they all say it’s going to be in aid of their new W705 slider cell phone.

The W705 looks very similar to the Sony Ericsson G705 and shares much of its specification with its sibling. In fact the W705 simply adds another face to their ever-expanding line of similarly specced Walkman phones:

• Screen: 240 x 320 pixels, 256k colours, TFT desplay
• Camera: 3.2 megapixels, no AF
• Connectivity: WiFi, GPS, bluetooth
• Memory: 120MB built-in, expandable via M2 slot, 4G card

The W705, like the other Walkman phones, will also feature Clear Audio Experience.

The appearence of this model is quite stylish with an aluminium casing in ‘Passionate Red’ and ‘Luxury Silver’ with an Orange-branded version also expected.

The new phone is expected to go on sale in February 2009.
