Nokia launches 6260 slide for “high speed sharing”
Yes, that’s really what they’re saying about it. The Nokia 6260 is built around quick access to search engines and points of interest from the home screen.
The 6260 also features the new 360-degree navi-key that Nokia claims promises “a great mobile internet experience”. This includes uploading images and videos to web sites, blogs and social networks which Nokia says is quicker than ever with the phone’s HSDPA 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and integrated web browser.
Also included are GPS capabilities, Nokia Maps and AGPS.
The 6260 also includes a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with flash so you could use the device to share your noise-filled photographs on all the social networks you’ve joined.
The Nokia 6260 slide is due to ship at the beginning of 2009 for an estimated retail price of $250.
