3G iPhone coming to Italy and Australia
AT&T and Apple have already confirmed that a 3G version is coming to the US in the near future ad now it seems other countries are joining the club. The latest entrants are Italy and Australia on Telecom Italia and Telstra respectively.

The Italian news comes from to La Republica who claim the 3G UMTS iPhone will be arriving soon without a revenue sharing deal or long-term exclusivity. If this is true we could see a global 3G iPhone launch this Summer instead of the piecemeal deals put together for the first version.
The Australian deal seems a little ironic as Telstra rejected Apple’s ovations last year in no uncertain terms. Telstra is now expected to be selling the 3G iPhone in June and Telstra’s deal will not be exclusive either.
