Yoga: So why would you want an iPod dock that looks like a dinner set?
January 13th, 2009Yoga is often translated as meaning ‘union’. It can be understood as integration – of body with mind, mind with soul. So what does it say about a music system? The Yoga in question is the iPod dock design by Tommy Chen.
The Yoga does manage to ‘unite’ a large number of functions within a small collection of objects:
- iPod dock
- Mobile Phone Dock
- CD player
- Amplifier
The design is said to have been inspired by the sight of raindrops falling to the ground.
