DLO Home Dock HD Pro — an iPod dock that can upscale your movies to HD!

If DLO’s claims can be believed you can just plug your iPod into the Home Dock HD Pro and your movies are upscaled to 720p/1080i for viewing on your favourite HD TV. And with HDMI and digital audio outputs your iPod becomes a source for your home theatre.

Unveiled at CEDIA earlier this year, the DLO Home Dock HD Pro seems to be the first device that can make your iPod an integral part fo your home entertainment system as you can see from the rear view in the photo. The ports include (from left to right):

• Digital Audio
• USB 2
• HDMI input and output
• RCA audio output
• Component video output
• IR input
• Auxiliary audio input
• 12v power input

The HD Pro also sports an RS-232 control port for high-end movie geeks.

DLO’s product page gives no indication as to the quality of the video output by the Dock but at a price tag of $399 we can be forgiven for expecting it to be good.
