Sony Bravia EX1 is the first wireless HD TV
September 1st, 2008The more gadgets you get the more wires seem to gradually throttle your home in order to power and connect them all. This one finally starts to reverse the tide by using wireless communication to stream data to a HD TV.
In the photograph above you can see a beige box to the bottom left and it is this which is broadcasting the image through the airwaves to the TV. In reality you would probably hide this away in a cupboard somewhere. Result: no visible cables!
The device is a super-slim LCD picture-frame design in black and silver finish. The on-board technology includes Motionflow 120Hz refresh rate allowing clearer action and sports sequences.
The Sony Bravia will be available in the final quarter of this year in 40″, 46″ and 52″ sizes.
