InFocus IN80 brings HD projection to the masses
August 13th, 2008Everything in the modern world is going High Definition and so it was inevitable that slowly HD projectors would start to appear. Here’s a projector from InFocus that throws a full 1080p of 4 meters diagonal and still remains affordable.
The IN80 features:
- Texas Instruments DLP DarkChip system with BrilliantColor
- Full 1080p processing
- 2,500:1 native contrast ratio
- 1,300 ANSI lumens of brightness
- Integrated Pixelworks DNX 10-bit video processing
- Two HDMI inputs
Set up has been made easy thanks to automatic colour gamut and black level calibration, plus a digital vertical lens shift and digital keystone correction for greater flexibility when installing the projector. Those needing more control can use InFocus’s Colour Gamut Calibrator and ISF Day & Night presets.
Expect to see the InFocus IN80 on shelves from Septemberthis year at around $2000.
