Sony’s flexible 11-inch OLED display flaunted at CEATEC
OLED technology has been a buzz-word all year since Sony amazed us with their OLED TV technology at the Consumer Electronics show in January. Well they’ve now gone one step better with the demonstration of a flexible version only 0.3mm thick!
Sony has been showing its wares at CEATEC Japan 2008 and the big crowd-pleaser has been their flexible sheet display. Expect to see similar concept art to the scrolling sheet PDAs and mobile phones (based on E-Ink technology) sprouting all over the bloggosphere in the coming months.
