Machines that Go Bing! -- The Gadgets Blog

Machines that go Bing! is funded by advertising on its pages. Some ads are shown on every page and others only on certain specified pages. Either text or graphic advertisements can be accommodated but all submissions are subject to approval and must ‘blend in’ with the look of the site. A table of the specifications for each ad can be found at the bottom of this page.

Available ad positions are as follows:

1. Header text ad. A 15px high strip of text links across the top of the page below the main banner. Shown on every page.
2. Sidebar Top. A wide rectangle ideal for text or graphics. Shown on every page.
3. Sidebar Skyscraper 1. A tall rectangle adjacent to the main navigation bar. A users eye and cursor must cross this ad in order to navigate the site. Shown on every page.
4. Sidebar Skyscraper 2. Similar to above.
5. In-post text link. Two options are available: E1, a chosen text phrase is converted to a link throughout the site; and E2, a single instance of a text phrase is linked to your site on a single page.
6. In-post ad. A medium sized rectangle for text or graphics. Only shown on one page
7. Blogroll text link. A simple text link shown on every page.
8. Footer ad. Leader board rectangle for text or graphics.
